  • Downton Abbey: A New Era

    Downton Abbey: A New Era

Do I look like I'd turn down a villa in the south of France! More of the same this time round, From the Downtown Abbey crew, Posh people doing posh things, Laura Haddock's cockney accent had already killed me off, But I officially lost it, When Neil's dad off The Inbetweeners showed up with Hitler like moustache 🤣, I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did!

  • Operation Mincemeat

    Operation Mincemeat

We're going to play a humiliating trick on Hitler! A who's who of posh British actors, Make for a enjoyable war time drama, A vast improvement on Kelly MacDonald's last cinematic release

  • The Liability

    The Liability

Hitman's Apprentice/ The Liability is by no means the worst film I've seen, A pre Skins Jack O'Connell working with Tim Roth's hitman, You should know what to expect, A bit paper thin at just under 90 minutes long, But it's a otherwise enjoyable for what it's trying to do

  • The Mechanic

    The Mechanic

Good judgement comes from experience, And a lot of that comes from bad judgement! Jason Statham's elite Hitman, Trains the son of his old mentor, After he's forced to kill him, You already know what to expect with any Statham film, Him a playing the tough guy hero, I've not seen the original, But I'd like to say it's decent enough remake, Honestly how Is Ben Foster not a massive star, It's certainly not as good as Simon West's masterpiece that is Con Air, But I would take a lot for him to top that, Decent little action film

  • Solomon Kane

    Solomon Kane

If kill you, I'm bound to hell, it is a price I shall gladly pay! Now there's a shock, Geoff Bell popping up, And for the 25th time of asking he's playing a horrible cunt!, Yes some of the cgi is bad, But Solomon Kane is a ace little swords and sorcery film, It's a shame with the dark and grimy landscape, That the action was rather tame in comparison, I thought James Purefoy was solid as the the titular lead, With scene stealing turns from the likes of Max Von Sydow & Pete Postlewaite

  • The 51st State

    The 51st State

Aw, fuck, Can't a brother just deal some goddamn drugs! Yes it's a film that's clearly trying to rip off every single Guy Ritchie film from 1998 to 2000, But don't let that put you off, Especially if you want to witness, A kilt wearing Samuel L. Jackson, Take down a bunch of Scouse goons with a bunch of golf clubs, Whilst Robert Carlyle is being hunted by his ex, Who happens to be an assassin, Played by Emily Mortimer, Yes Emily Mortimer, Meat Loaf and Ricky Tomlinson as drug lords, The 51st State is an enjoyably wild ride!

  • Avengement

Prison turned you into a fucking pyschopathic killer, Prison didn't you fucking did! The always charismatic Scott Adkins & Jesse V. Johnson collaborating again, For another enjoyable action flick, With a cast that makes up the who's who of the straight to video acting world, So expect anyone from Leo Gregory, Thomas Turgoose, Nick Moran, And the man that makes a living out of these films , Craig Fairbrass as Adkin's characters brother, And his Debt Collector buddy Louis Mandylor even…

  • Extraction

We just got attacked by the Goonies from hell! A dude called Tyler Rake killing some goon with an actual rake, That's the kind of stuff Arnie would do in the late 80's to early 90's, Followed by some hilarious quip, Chris Hemsworth's films outside of the MCU, Tend to be a bit hit & miss, So I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Extraction

  • The Godfather: Part III

    The Godfather: Part III

Just when I thought I was out, They pull me back in! How do you go from making 2 of the greatest films of all time, To then go on and produce something as disappointing as this was? Imagine thinking that George Hamilton would have the same impact, As Robert Duvall's Tom Hagen, I don't blame him for turning down Paramount's paltry offer to reprise his role, Francis Ford Coppola bit off more than he could chew here, Was there…

  • Debt Collectors

    Debt Collectors

Fuck off Harry Styles!, Come on no one watches a Scott Adkins film for the plot, This sequel to The Debt Collector, Is more of what made the first film such a blast, Scott Adkins kicking ass, And two leads that just riff of each so well, In Scott Adkins & Louis Mandylor, If that's not enough, There's a clear homage, To John Carpenters cult classic They Live, Less said about the goons storm trooper aim during, The shootout the better, But that doesn't stop this from being brisk movie fun!

  • Hard Target 2

    Hard Target 2

They tell me you like punishment, Sorry, Ma'am, You're not my type! After accidentally killing his friend, In a mma, Scott Adkins fighter, Wes Baylor is coecered in to a deadly hunt for survival, By Robert Knepper's Aldrich, I've not seen John Woo's original Hard Target, But fans of Scott Adkins are sure to love this, A ridiculously over the top action film, With more high flying kicks and explosions, Than you'd find in a typical Michael Bay film, I…

  • Rebel Dread

    Rebel Dread

Despite knowing next to nothing about him, I really liked Rebel Dread, An informative documentary, On Don Letts cultural significance to the British music scene, Man what a cool cool dude
