Cernan Mari’s review published on Letterboxd:
“The world doesn’t need another dream girl” more like “The world doesn’t need another Cinderella movie.”
Colorful outfits and a fantastic soundtrack. All of this, however, is meaningless if the film's dialogue is cringely written and poorly performed. That's how I'm feeling when I'm watching Cinderella.
Camila Cabello, I love you, and I personally believe you're a talented singer, and I know this film's flatness isn't your fault, so don't be offended by this review; it's not entirely for you.
Nevertheless, if you love fairytales and the famous quote "and they lived happily ever after," I'm sure you'll love this Cinderella remake. But I'm not one of them. So please excuse my 1-star rating.
