  A great performance by Olivia Colman! An engrossing psychological drama about a woman who is triggered by the presence of a young girl while vacationing. We see in flashbacks her relationships with her biological children and how this effect leads her to come to terms with the decisions she made.

  ★★★½ Watched 15 Jan 2022

  The best Scream since the original. Serious in tone with a few meta moments discussing how Hollywood rebrands their franchises to keep old and new fans interested in the movies. With new screenwriters and directors, this Scream film elevates the serious back to form.

  Big hearted and fun. I’m glad the DCEU is on a roll making movies that aren’t a slog to sit through. Seriously, the kid playing Batman vs Superman with his figurines in Shazam! was more interesting than the entire Batman Vs Superman movie. But anyways, Shazam! treats it’s measages of family and friendships seriously, elevating this superhero movie into a solid entry in this universe.

  Mesmerizing. Engrosses you from the first frame. Be sure to notice the titles on the sides of tv during the interview scene. The themes of those books and movies are evident in Climax. One of Gasper Noe’s more accessible films.
