Centric Films’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Batman is a Fincher-esque detective thriller that rewrites everything the Batman franchise has established. Robert Pattinson takes your idea of Batman and throws it out the window. This new depiction is instantly iconic and shows Bruce as a grungy emo king.
The action scenes in this movie are so incredibly and are masterfully shot. The entire cast nailed their roles and I couldn’t have asked for any better casting. There were definitely moments where you felt the runtime, specifically in the second act, but overall I think it managed the 3 hour story well. Loved the use of darkness and the entire Neo-Noir feel of this movie.
Not enough Paul Dano screaming
