M3GAN

M3GAN ★★★

Surprisingly better than I (or anyone probably) expected this to be. Sure, it's just as dumb as the trailer makes it look, but the movie's also very aware of that too. It plays with its premise a lot, and that makes it plenty of fun to watch. I went and saw this with my sister, which was a good decision. We were laughing at our own jokes the whole time and having tons of fun with this movie.

Really the only major compliment I can give this is M3GAN herself. Her design and the way she looks on-screen looks really incredible. It's super realistic while also still managing to give off a pretty unnerving vibe.

Aside from that though, I don't feel like there's a whole lot to say about this. Most of it was fairly serviceable, and I don't think I would have enjoyed it nearly as much alone than I did with my sister. So will I see "M3GAN 2.0" (cool title, not gonna lie) when it comes out in 2025? Maybe. I could definitely go with a friend. But I don't think there's really a chance at all of me rewatching this one again.
