Obviously I watched this up in the clouds.
The OG stoner comedy? Insta-points.
The first ten minutes or so are pretty great. After that it's a mixed bag, with the "plot" consisting of a loose series of not-really-related gags.
Some of them are pretty meh, but there are a few hilarious moments here and there. I caught myself laughing out loud several times.
Filmed with awareness but not expertise. Visual comedy as a whole is somewhat rare. Still, the camera is occasionally used to enhancing effect.
The main pair here are just so charismatic that you're always interested in the on-screen happenings. Complementary and entertaining, with a generally easy and wholesome vibe.
Somewhat clumsy and dated, this is also classic and fun.
