Hoop-tober watch #3 - a film directed by a woman
At first I was thinking that this was going to be a low budget laughable affair but it slowly creeped under my skin and made me feel uneasy.... This film has no business being this viscerally effective!
By the movie theater scene started building I was sold - I’m creeped out!!
The low budget, over saturated blurriness really played into the dreamlike atmosphere teetering on pure nightmare. It’s an unique horror film that will genuinely give you the heebie jeebies.
