Jay D 's Watching’s review published on Letterboxd:
Liked it more than I expected to, almost to an uncomfortable amount, given how easy it is to rag on Disney/MCU these days ---I have to say though, that this did the escalation in a way that felt natural, and of all the Marvel movies, in some way or other, it felt the most like it captured the tone of a comic from say, 76-86. Also, Tony Leung and Simu Liu had excellent 'you ruined my life!/I'm going to punch you in the face sadly' chemistry.
Also, I spent the first half of the film musing 'Hey, they got Bill Pope for this? Weird, the cinematography is the least interesting part....' and then we got to the giant dragons cutting lose on each other, and all of a sudden the Bill Pope kicked in, and it all made sense.
