My favourite fact about this movie is that at $60 million in 2003, this is the most expensive movie the Coens have ever done. So weird.
This is the funniest movie I've ever seen. I don't know a ton about the Coens but I've seen a few of their movies and they always deliver. This is definitely an underrated thing by them - I didn't know much about it going in. It's got all those quirky and almost magical realism elements, but the cast is what really sells it. Satire on wealth and marriage, and just as strange as it is amazing. I'll definitely have to see this again.
Update: I can't believe how bad the reviews are on here. I thought this was amazing but apparently it's considered one of their weakest? Nobody here has taste.
