    After so many adaptations, versions and interpretations over decades, I'm so glad this was the one path chosen by Matt Reeves. Strangely, it's the first time this character has been cinematically inserted in a gothic environment which gets to the roots of an investigative neo noir, that has been quite instrumentalized in other recent narratives. But it was all mastered in this case: voyeurism plays a big role. It feels the most genuine, raw and interesting Batman I have seen,โ€ฆ
