    The mid-life crisis goes full bore in this at times absurd and otherwise wry black comedy set in Norway’s remote wilderness. The acting surpasses the writing, which is pretty good itself, if a couple of steps beyond disbelief have to be forgiven.

    Dated in sections… but then some people are dated, so this story could still play out today.

    Nicely staged, with a huge an mount of patience and humour on display, nearly enough of it to prevent the crash that we know is coming. Impressive, with compassion for all of the main characters.
