Alejandro Castellanos’s review published on Letterboxd:
We're not bad people. We just come from a bad place.
Pop psychoanalysis and nice cinematography. I might be in the minority here so sorry, but I didn't think that this was very good.
This is the story of two siblings with sex addictions. But comparing having a one night stand to severe sexual repression and porn addiction just feels odd. Perhaps were supposed to think that Sissy has a sex addiction too, I certainly didn't get that impression until the end. Maybe more context was needed, because I don't want to think that Steve McQueen believes that these two characters were equally scarred.
