This was a slog. It took me three nights ~ 1hr per night to get through this. Very emo which by itself isn’t bad. Everyone whisper talking. The lighting so dark you could barely make out anything that was happening. The right ambience for a disaffected and dystopian Gotham but colossal pacing. Could’ve been 30-45 mins shorter. The casting was fine. Not sizzling chemistry between Batman and Catwoman but not as awful as I had heard. RPattz was fine as…

Just a coinkidink that I’ve seen a lot of Ryan Reynolds films lately but he does have good comic timing. Another wholesome content film but with a few more swear words. Young Adam is a little firecracker. Story is a little clunky and convoluted. Time travel is rarely a solid theme but I lol a lot. Teared up a few times as well. Losing a parent is tough at any age. It never leaves you. Cute to see JGar and Mark Ruffalo as a couple again, ages after 13 Going on 30. Good cast. Highly re-watchable. Lots of lighthearted humor with a surprising emotional undercurrent.

The power plays with each of the characters are like peeling back the layers of an onion. Will it taste sweet, will it burn your eyes with bitterness and dread. The cinematography is luscious. The dialogue is limited given the length of the film but so much is said in their actions…

The cast and acting is good with a slight twist on the heist storyline. It slowed down a little during the third act but the film is more about the bond between the men and what they’d do for each rather than the action itself.
