So I’m rewriting this review after the movie sat with me for a while and I’m upping it from a 4 to a 5 and here’s why.
It’s just a lot to take in. It’s a complex narrative that isn’t spelled out for you. It requires deeper thought and a more artistic interpretation. It’s still a strange film but it just sticks with you and I keep thinking more about it as time goes on.
The line between human and machine, what death means and what it means to be alive. Nothing I write can totally express the deeper thoughts on these things.
I expect I’ll edit this again at some point, when I’ve had even more time to think, when our society has changed more and I’m older. This one will stick with me for a long time.
I watched the Final Cut and it’s the cut I would recommend (there’s 5).
