HW’s review published on Letterboxd:
This movie entrenched me in acute frustration (seems to be a common thread across reviews) while exploring what I think is an excellent theme—how much one is willing to endure to not rock the boat, socially speaking. The slow build and resulting horrible climax are simply nasty, and had the protagonists not been so annoying (even if that's technically the point) this would be very up my alley. Speak No Evil pulls zero punches, whether it's by creating the most incredibly uncomfortable social situations, or when it finally reveals to us the antagonists' designs.
