So refreshing to actually root for the humans in a monster movie like this. It is my personal opinion that the Dolby showings should’ve lasted one more day.
If there was ever a time to clap during a movie, it’d be during this one.

This one-upped the first installment in every way. With George Miller's budding fetish for machine, his apocalyptic world becomes fully realized. You’re only as useful as the amount of gas you got in your tank. The scope of this world is just on a whole different level. A Miller movie running on gasoline is no different than a Cronenberg movie running on flesh.

What a wild ride this movie is. Big fan of the crew even though this demographic feels copied and pasted from all other isolated crew movies.
There's tension at every corner, but the few instances of serene wonder would make all the trials and tribulations worth it (the 3x pay helps too). It only makes sense that James Cameron would go on to make Titanic and Avatar.

Lots of cool cat and mouse scenes ranging from a simple subway stroll to a high speed chase. Honestly surprised this did as well as it did at the Oscars because this feels pretty standard. But maybe it’s because of this movie’s success that this style now feels standard 🤷🏼♂️. The ultimate bad cop movie. Wish my man Roy Scheider had a bigger role 💔

Pretty amazing. It’s the best I’ve seen a movie cover the effects of revenge. Toying with revenge leads to dangerous results... There really are no winners.
It completely subverted my expectations too. What would normally be the climax of many other revenge stories happens within the first 30 minutes of this one. This movie just has way too many great peaks for me to give it any less.
