Weird! I love it.
They really don't need to keep making these movies. Warner Bros; you are under no obligation. They aren't that profitable. They aren't artistically significant. They are written by the world's wealthiest TERF. They are directed by the world's least inspired, yet most complicit director. You fired the titular character of the second film. You wrote out the female protagonist of the previous two films. Eddie Redmayne is the main character. I do not see where this story could be going in any meaningful or interesting direction.
You can stop.
Sony is so generous! They'll give terrible writers and terrible directors their long awaited opportunity to continuously one-up themselves in making the worst superhero movie of the early 2000s.
Until this film I was in the Jared Leto indifference camp. But now I've booked a round trip on the Jared Leto hate express.
Also, and I don't think I need to say this but, this is Sony's fault.
