There’s been a lot of chatter lately as to the interpretation of the third act of what I'd consider to be the best film so far of this young decade. There’s the camp that feels everything occurring after the encounter with the dog is a dream. There are those who dismiss that as a reductive cop-out. I think it’s something else entirely.
