Babylon 2022
movies are more than a dream. movies are life. an escape that is meant to hopefully stick with you for a lifetime. this is quite honestly one of the most ballsy, insane movies I’ve ever seen on the big screen. I was shaking in my seat, I laughed, I was moved beyond relief. the ending made me simultaneously laugh and cry. a masterpiece of the ages.

Mr Meeks is the savior of cinema.
almost cried a few times. really had to let this one sink in but one of the best films I’ve ever seen. never has there been a film like this since and I doubt there will ever be again. the themes, performances, scale were all glorious and though it’s all over the place it comes full circle. a shocking, loved, beautiful piece of art. I don’t know if I’ll truly ever recover.

we’re at four and they somehow keep upping the game. sure, the story isn’t anything fresh, people are trying to kill John Wick again. but there’s something so wholly gripping about the way these action sequences are shot. insane to a new degree, you’ll be constantly asking yourself “how much more insane can this get??” chaos at its finest, this is why movies are made.
