"Favorite Films" = the last four movies I gave 4.5 or 5 stars
The French Dispatch 2021
Her large, stupid eyes watched me pee. A thousand kisses later: will she still remember the taste of my tool on the tip of her tongue?
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein 1948
Disturbing slow-burn atmospheric horror. Fucked up and intensely terrifying
Under the Shadow 2016
Pretty underwhelming. The backdrop of the Iran-Iraq War gives it a thematic/metaphorical edge over most modern horror movies, so it at least feels unique in that regard. The problem is that it's a slow burn that burns way too slow - when it finally gets to the last ten minutes, the horror is so generically presented that the epilogue-less ending feels anticlimactic.
Eyes Without a Face 1960
4 body horror films (1/4)
There has got to be a better tagline for this than "Beautiful women were the victims of his FIENDISH FACIALS!!!".
