Leonardo Dicaprio: shouts in every single film he’s in for literally no reason

    Me: 👏👏👏what an actor

This was alright, was a fun watch, pretty obvious and important message, wouldn’t watch it again. Some really bizarre choices editing wise that don’t work at all but the cast pretty much save the entire film.

    Jonah Hills the goat.

    This was very odd. Nice.

The audacity Charlie Kaufman had to make the word “Okay” one of the greatest pieces of writing in any screenplay ever.

I fucking love everything about this movie so much.

    this was ass.

just a jumbled directionless mess but we know that so what’s new.

Despite its flaws it holds two records, one for being  the most “mcdonald’s toy” movie in existence and one for being the most memed movie in existence.

I will never recover from emo Peter Parker. The most cringe inducing shit ive ever been put through in my entire life and not in a “Uncut Gems makes you uncomfortable” kind of way, just the worst thing…

Whoever thinks the original is better or on the same level as this is on crack. I actually can’t believe how much better this movie is in literally every aspect imaginable.

The original was way too goofy, comic booky, family friendly and was on par with Spy Kids in terms of seriousness. The characters didn’t feel real, the conflict was boring and it just felt so cheesy and i think the reason it holds up for people nowadays is mainly…

this is the first movie i’ve seen in a gazillion years mostly from being too busy or too tired but i’m ill and needed a cheesy film from my childhood which i thought i’d seen but i must’ve only seen certain parts cause i don’t remember half this shit at all.

This was unbelievably goofy and felt like it was made by a 14 year old but it was a lot of fun.

There were no major stakes that actually…

Josh Brolins so underrated in this movie. His performance isn’t showy or noticeable but it feels so god damn real it’s insane.

Little stagnant in the second act but for the most part this is better than the majority of films being put out today by a long shot.

This movie like all of Denis Villeneuves filmography is even more of a masterpiece with a rewatch and especially on the big screen.

I’ve never felt so cinematically immersed in a movie theater than i have with Dune in a long time. Experience was almost transcendental. Just complete mesmerisation from start to end.

Everything about this film is just a 10/10 or close to it, it’s just absolutely fantastic and i seriously cannot wait years for a sequel, i need that shit RIGHT NOW.

Can’t wait to tell my kids i saw this bad boy on the big screen TWICE BABY.

Watching this in IMAX and trying to express the experience you had through letterboxd is like being abducted by aliens and making a tweet about it afterwards. Impossible to describe.

Whilst for the most part feeling like setup for the actual story which will happen in part two, it was a masterclass in immersion, world building and technical craft. Seriously one of the most unforgettable cinema experiences i’ve ever had.

The only big flaw is that it isn’t longer, whilst…

The best delivery of any swear word in the history of cinema has to go to Jake Gyllenhaals “Bitch” after his mother leaves his room. Seen this movie probably 7 times and it still makes me laugh out loud.

Just thinking about the time when i watched this when i was 11 years old and thought Donnie going out in the middle of the night was cool and so i snuck out at like 1 in the morning when my…

Not that good. Fun cinema experience when everyone in the screening collectively agreed it was pretty wank the entire time, was half drunk with my mates and the screen was massive.

It achieves the most it can with a simple story that was really only ever made for one movie. It’s not particularly badly made in any way, it’s pretty tight as a whole it’s just the general idea and concept just becomes tiresome and repetitive.

    Main flaw i had…

I’ve never seen a movie so fucking ridiculous and stupid in my entire life that’s made me cry with laughter after it ended.

First act sucked absolute balls, introduced the characters and plots awfully and every horror scene was so eyerolly.

Second act i seriously debated giving up and just searching on YouTube “Malignant Explained” because i seriously couldn’t be bothered with this absolute ass movie.

Third act was like watching an goth throw a tantrum, so unbelievably strange but so fucking funny at the same time.

James Wan owes me a couple brain cells.
