The heaviest weight I've ever felt in my chest. The most disturbing thing I've ever seen. It says so much about trauma and suppression and vices, all through the scope of loving empathy, centering around perhaps the greatest tragedy I've ever seen. Sheryl Lee might have the greatest performance I've ever seen. Right next to Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain. So many minor creative decisions on her part that add so much physicality and nuance. Fuck Leland.
