i can’t believe i’m lucky enough to be alive at a time when a film like this exists, holy fuck!
if someone were to tell me i’d be sobbing uncontrollably because of a silent scene with two rocks sitting next to each other…
and then that i’d spend the remaining forty minutes of the film sobbing even harder— WOW.
this is the first film i’ve ever seen in my life that i would, without any doubt or hesitation, call an absolute masterpiece. this is perfection. i’ve literally never seen anything like this. swiss army man came pretty close but it was missing something that the daniels managed to find for this one. they really did it. they made THE film of all time. WOW WOW WOW.
i’ll have to rewatch this asap because there was SO MUCH to take in, and i think i’ll rewatch it again and again and again etc. after that.
so many beautiful, touching and intense scenes that had me crying so hard i though i’d suffocate or something. the dialogue is just so unbelievably good. i still can’t believe this actually exits. it’s just… fuck. it’s perfect.
