“I always carry this much SHIT in my bag.”

Breakfast DRAG. Boring and manipulative characters (minus the girl who doesn’t have anything to do with sex). The plot of the kids going from hating each other to becoming friends is predictable. The emotional payoffs coming from venting didn’t work for me, and well, I didn’t laugh. I doubt it would’ve interested me when I was ant that age either.

“She's sitting on a set and she seems to do absolutely nothing. But there's some strange motor going on in there that us fellas know nothing about... In watching some of the things that she did, I literally had to turn away from the camera because it would get to me.” - Paul Newman

For an Oscar nominee film, I really don’t hear a lot about this film. In fact I never heard about it and only knew its existence…

I’m never not going to enjoy watching a film set in the past. That’s part of why this is still getting a “better” rating. But for all the innovations we’ve made in VFX and technology, there is still no comparing the feeble excuse of the “battle of Borodino” here with what Sergey Bondarchuk achieved in 1965. The battles in this film…

I’m still honestly a fan of the Josephine/Napoleon scenes and I didn’t mind the comedy.…

Can’t believe I slept through the spanking scene on my first watch through the other day 🤦🏻.

Rewatch was great until the projector broke during the interrogation. I’m glad that I had already seen this movie prior…. But damn, get your shit together AMC
