"You alright Dave? Or did you make poo-poo?"
I've never seen Le Convoyeur so I can't compare the two films, but Ritchie's remake, Wrath of Man, encapsulates so many of man's best and worst attributes so well. Jason Statham wants revenge on the man who took from him one of the few things that can never be replaced and he will not be denied his vengeance.
On the other side of the coin we have the men who pulled the heist that sets things into motion. They are also bound and determined to do anything necessary to get what they want and these two forces moving towards each other are going to explode once they meet. The tension leading up to this inevitable confrontation is palpable and the cast is pretty much perfect in adding to it. Ritchie's back.
