Wow this was completely from another world. Never could have expected any of that, I’m not sure I have ever seen anything like it.
Also I feel like this was the basis for a lot of the stylistic choices for Guadagnino’s Suspiria. They’re really so similar on so many levels.

Worth noting almost everyone was standing outside afterwards talking about it

I found this very disappointing. I might’ve had too high expectations but I just thought this was messier than it should’ve been. Pretty much all of these actors are incredible on their own but I never felt any of them were given enough room to shine.

It’s slow cinema, not really a horror movie, but I’m happy about that. Well paced and well told. They did an excellent job with the visual effects too.

This really is just the perfect bond film for me. Everything just clicks together perfectly which is something bond films in the last 3 decades have struggled with.

Surprisingly engaging for being a single shot for 40 minutes. Deeply emotional and beautiful. Also a really great covid artwork, and the accompanying soundtrack is instantly legendary. Might be my favorite of the year.
