I just finished witnessing the incarnation of pure evil that is Michael Myers. Halloween is very effective in giving the scares and has one of the most iconic psychopaths I've seen. Myers's sudden apparitions throughout the film were always creepy and truly disturbing. I was a little bit bothered by how some of the other characters acted on certain occasions, but it's just a small quibble I had with the movie. At times, I felt there were illogical aspects of the story, but then I realized how the supernatural factor had a strong presence here and I started appreciating even more until its haunting ending. Halloween is one of the pioneers of slasher films and still holds up quite well nowadays.
