horror movies & florence pugh are all i need
A stunning work of art with some of the most impressive landscape shots I’ve ever seen. There’s so much magic in the way this movie looks that I’d see it again just to experience the visuals another time. Dev Patel really felt authentic in this role and absolutely crushed it. I’ll be thinking about this one for awhile.
A really enjoyable and creepy thriller that had a fun and interesting take on solving the mystery. Ethan Hawke was super freaky but I wish we could’ve seen more of him and the masks, those scenes alone made the experience worth it. I may rate this higher on a rewatch because I had a very disruptive movie experience and couldn’t fully get into it all, but I do know it was damn good and worth the watch from what I could take in and I’d love to see it again.
