"Ooh, it's all red. Looks like you've been fucking an Indian."
I didn't think I had seen this one, but I had (about 30 years ago) - quasi soft-porn that was typical of the grindhouse drive-in fare of the sexploitation 70's. Particularly funny that Russ tried to weave a plot in here somewhere. You know I liked it, more than I should have!

"We didn't need dialogue. We had faces!"
Near perfect movie dealing with Hollywood circa 1950. Drags a bit here and there, but overall a fairly brilliant watch!

Hmmm, I seemed to like this more than most people. Sure, it had plenty of flaws.. but it was pretty exciting and I was happy that there was some sort of ending instead of leaving everything wide open. It makes my Top 15 for this year (so far)

"What lingered after them was not life, but the most trivial list of mundane facts: A clock ticking on a wall, a room dim at noon, and the outrageousness of a human being thinking only of herself."

Wow! 2 pretty great movies in one night. This was another one I had on my list for years and just got around to. Heavy movie (as you might guess from the title) directed really well by Sofia Coppola and the added bonus of a stellar cast. This is kind of what can happen when you shelter your kids too much and smother them with religion. Recommended
