Brendan Michaels’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Shining meets Funny Games but with a dash of Yorgos’ darkly deadpan humor. The Killing of the Sacred Deer is a lot to chew on and reminds me of watching The Lobster but instead of feeling the melancholia of The Lobster I was filled with the dread that kept building and building until it became almost too much. Such a twisted, sadistic film, but I loved every second of it.
