Brendan Michaels’s review published on Letterboxd:
I really can’t say much about the film because then I’d be going into spoilers but I think for the most part Shyamalan does a great job with this film. So many parts get experimental and he does things I’ve never seen in a film before. As someone who read the graphic novel right before watching this film I say this actually is better than the book. But there’s going to be a part of the film that will divide people. That’s all I’ll say. But Shyamalan really shows his directing chops here, both creatively and technically.
