It’s that time of the year were we make another (yes another) trip to Haddonfield, Illinois to see how many bodies Michael Myers is stacking up in the brand new Halloween Kills that was released to cinemas last week.
The new instalment in this painful franchise follows 2018’s reboot Halloween and was promising to be more gruesome and shocking than its predecessor with Michael returning to terrorise a few new familiar faces from the Halloween Greatest Hits album.
For a while there it looked liked Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007 had no time for release never mind time to die after it went through a heavy number of postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was originally scheduled to hit screens in November 2019 until it was pushed back until February 2020, April 2020, November 2020 and April 2021 before finding its settled date in September 2021.
Now there was a lot riding on the latest instalment,…
I spontaneously watched Free Guy last night and I must say I was surprised with how entertaining it is.
It’s like Ready Player One, The Truman Show and Wreck it Ralph all perfectly blended together.
Plenty of references to video games and movies that made it an overall pleasant watch.
Ryan Reynolds just never fails to disappoint these days!
