The Killers Edge 1991
WINGS HAUSER: What if the seventh graders you teach found out how much of a nasty, vulgar, sexual being you are?
HIS FIANCE: Mmmm, They already know.
ME: what

Doublecrossed 1991
Not nearly as good as American Made, but not a bad time, and Hopper is dependable as always
Highlights include:
- Hopper interrupting a DEA meeting in a restroom with, 'ALRIGHT, EVERYBODY OUT! I GOTTA PISS!!!'
- Finding out that Dennis Hopper was apparently shorter than Danny Trejo
- Hopper as Barry Seal literally doing an impression of a seal
- The film beginning like a Smokey and the Bandit sequel for some reason -
Rio Bravo 1959
The pinnacle of "dudes rock" cinema. If you ever wanted to see a movie all about guys just hanging out and creating nothing but the best vibe for the people all around them, Rio Bravo is the exact movie for you. I think it's also just a great movie that celebrates how friendship is important to staying strong especially in trying times, because of course there's no one hero to a lot of these western films but the notion of…

Rosemary's Baby 1968
An absolute classic for obvious reasons. Like a lot of other films dubbed “classics” this is one I totally slept on and put it off as “everyone tells me to watch it so I’ll get around to it eventually.” A perfect horror flick that would be great to put on for people that dont like horror. No gratuitous violence or gore, no monsters or ghosts, just the dreadful feeling of being controlled for forces you don’t yet understand, and the…

Living To Die 1990
Note: this is getting a bump in the star rating because I bought it on VHS to watch it before I found it on YouTube smh.
Wings plays an ex-cop, workin an livin on the Vegas strip, hanging out with rich hoodlums that like the ladies of the night. One of these rich guys happens to get caught up in a blackmail scam by an idiotic thug who's played my Imhotep from the Frasier Mummy movies an then the murders…

Coldfire 1990
"COLDFIRE is a solid piece of filmmaking from everyone’s favorite actor. It has everything you want -- it just doesn’t have enough of it. Most of Wings Hauser’s scenes are just him at a desk. It’s as though he couldn’t handle both acting and directing, so he did all his scenes in one day, in one hour, in one take. Nick and Jake aren’t strong or charismatic enough to carry it all, so the lack of Wings in this movie…

Catchfire 1990
Offbeat, sleazy mob noir, directed by Dennis Hopper, that suffered from both a troubled production and botched distribution. A shortened version was released in 1990 under the title Catchfire to hostile reviews and zero box office. Hopper's directors cut has since become available, and what a strange film it is, outrageous pulp with a cast that's straight out of fantasyland: Hopper, Jodie Foster, Joe Pesci, John Turturro, Dean Stockwell, Vincent Price, Tony Sirico, Bob Dylan, Fred Ward, Catherine Keener, Charlie…
