A rock solid historical epic. Viola Davis is incredible and is able to show so much with a single look on screen. The entire cast is pretty terrific. Mbedu is great and Lynch also really stands out. This runs a bit long and I think some subplots could have been cut out to make the film flow better, but it still kept my attention throughout.
