I don't care what anyone says, this to me is a perfect creature feature. It's suspenseful and genuinely terrifying at times. John Goodman's character steals every fucking scene which shouldn't be a shock because John Goodman is one of the GOATs. He has his own damn theme music for fucks sake. This movie embodies everything that is fun about cinema to me. A simple and slightly stupid premise executed in such a fun way. That big ass spider at the end is a legitimate antagonist, they zoom in on its big disgusting eyes like they're filming The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and I love every second of it.
