I didn't know much about The Black Panther Party going into this. I knew the basics; Black liberation, brotherhood, anti-fascism, etc. So by association I had also not known much about Fred Hampton, certainly not what an absolutely amazing orator he was.
With leaders like Hampton at its forefront who commanded such gravity and resolve, it's no surprise The Black Panthers became such a powerful nationwide political movement.
I don't need to praise Daniel Kaluuya too much, he hands out brilliant performances like he's got em on sale, everyone knows this. But big shout out to Lakeith Stanfield, the dude is just fuckin killin' it in this industry lately.
