Bob McCully’s review published on Letterboxd:
Kenneth Anger's Scorpio Rising is quite the vibe.
A constant barrage of homo-erotic posturing, nazi imagery, and motifs of getting wild and letting loose intercut with Jesus H. Christ making his rounds. Wall-to-wall 50's pop bangers lead us through the burgeoning streaks of menace, like a jukebox possessed by the pheromones of all these unhinged sweaty hunks.
Biblical leather, decadence and destruction, riding on a hog until the pigs break into the barn to lick your bloody knuckles clean. Kenny Anger was a horny madman and he sure knew how to lacerate your retinas.
