Everything Everywhere All at Once

Everything Everywhere All at Once ★★★★★

My god. What an incredible film.

Don’t think I have EVER seen anything so unbelievably creative in all my lifeit’s existential yet grounded, heartwarming yet heartbreaking, complex yet understandable, funny yet serious, visually stunning yet simple, cosmic yet so REAL

Every. Single. Aspect is firing on all cylinders and comes together to create what is easily one of the best films of all time. I’m in genuine awe of what a marvel this film is and that I’m alive to witness it (albeit several months late I know!) like I feel like I’m living through a release of other phenomenal films everyone loves so much. It’s a film that will most definitely stand the rest of time and be up there as one of the all-time greats.

The Daniels have crafted the absolutely perfect screenplay that introduces you to this wacky, wild world, sucks you in from the very moment Michelle Yeoh appears on screen, and doesn’t let go until the credits roll. I simply could not look away from the screen for even a SECOND, and with a film this good it’s easy to see why.

I absolutely bawled my eyes out for the entire last half hour and genuinely feel like a different person post-viewing. Give every single person involved all the possible awards because each and every one of them deserves it for playing a part in crafting this utterly phenomenal movie!

Michelle Yeoh and Stephanie Hsu were incredible to behold and Ke Huy Quan (welcome back king 🥹) also delivered an equally impressive performance as the (literal) heart of the story. James Hong is one of the all-time greats and this was easily the best performance from Jamie Lee Curtis. Nice to see Jenny Slate too!!! Can’t wait to watch this again!!!!!!
