  The Incredible Hulk 2008

  Betty pissed me off the entire movie. 

  I didn’t expect The Incredible Hulk to be so bad especially since it was released the same year as Iron Man. definitely the worst mcu installment thus far, just so bland, lifeless and predictable. it’s something we’ve seen many times before and at times makes absolutely no sense.

  I definitely don’t blame marvel for this though. they were still finding their footing and figuring out what to do. 3.5/10.

  a very weak superhero film in many ways and a huge downgrade from its predecessor. they depowered diana so badly and failed to deliver a compelling story or strong emotional weight, which is what they executed so well with the first one. the runtime is also way too long.

  i didn’t completely hate it, i liked the score. and the first act in particular was very enjoyable but they failed to maintain or expand on that momentum. 4.5/10.

  one of the marvel's 'artistic' projects. i love everything about this movie so much, everything from the characterization to the musical score and the representation and exploration of Asian culture. can't wait to see what's next for Shang-Chi and am patiently waiting for the Xialing spin-off.
