Doesn’t work for me. Michael is a brutal MF, and it takes some big swings, which I can appreciate, but scattershot THEMES overtake the narrative/characters. Kinda like how it started and the capper, but the in-between is a chore. Lots of ideas just floating around in extended, unfocused, unnecessary morass. The parking lot(s)? The dudes in the house?
And the integration of ‘78 characters… not great, the new(ish) ‘78 character being the exception. Brackett’s lines…yeesh. Those kills, though.
