Cinema as the dreams and nightmares of us. It is not reality, but an illusion. The only thing real is the emotion that it conjures in the audience. Conventional logic is self defeating. Let go and escape to another world. In other words, Lynch is a goddamn magician and we are all lucky to be a part of his act.
