Zemeckis puts his label on it 100 percent and one of the details I fascinated myself was the yellow thunder Tom Hanks  wears at his helmet, this is absolutely an 80s cult mark. Yes Zemeckis is a storyteller for big kids like me that we always search for the lost Neverland. Believable weather phenomena , desperate situations and measures and humanity to try and protect its last sign a dog . Yes we learn love , compassion , responsibility and the cult 80s old fashion way of life
