A poetic dream of lust and the danger it can bring upon us. It brings out our worst animal instincts and it is easier than we think to give into them.

Claire Denis film is ugly in the sense that these animal instincts never once are attractive. It’s no surprise that critics hated this one. Very existential and leaves you the viewer to pry open her message. I join the arthouse snobs in really liking it.
