Letterboxd — Your life in film

I forgot how much character this movie has. It reeks of early 2000’s action with high drama, quippy one liners and terrific hand to hand combat choreo. A bit like Scottie pippen MI2 is underrated

A real turning point in the MI franchise. Phillip Seymour Hoffman puts on a legendary performance as a very frightening antagonist. Holds up well and reminds me how scared I am of brain bombs

Over the top action, a charismatic Pierce Brosnan doing an A+ bond and arguably the greatest line of dialogue in a movie with: “I used everything at my disposal, her brains, her talent, even her sex”to which Bond replies “the coldest weapon of all”

Unfortunately these weren’t enough to save the movie. A great hit of nostalgia but plagued with bad writing and some horrifically aged cgi

Came for Jason Statham, stayed for Aubrey Plaza

An instant classic rom com, Lenny kravitz and his penis are hilarious, J Lo looks like she’s in her physical prime and many laughs were had

Kitty Softpaws appreciation club

I wish I had a stake at the end of this movie, so I could end my own suffering
