Still as beautiful. Again I do feel like the 1st and 3rd parts are the most entertaining and emotional but the film as a whole is gorgeous, heartbreaking and simultaneously heartwarming. The way each actor still manages to capture the nuances of the 'Chiron' character, I mean hell Trevante Rhodes look nothing like the other 2 but his acting alone makes me recognise chiron immediately. This film for some reason is overshadowed by the fact that it's a 'gay black story', but it's so much more than that, it's a love story, a youth story, a struggling story, and it shouldn't be tied down to the fact that a part of that story is his struggle with his sexuality.
