Calebe S.S.’s review published on Letterboxd:
Jojo Rabbit is... a great film, and it kinda deserves the title of being one of the best movies from 2019 along with Rise of Skywalker. Tho the only things that made this movie not a masterpiece for me was some cheesy moments that felt very out of place.
But... I kinda think those cheesy moments were the only problems I had with this movie, because honestly, Jojo Rabbit is a jam. The writing is great, the soundtrack is what you would expect from Michael Giacchino (I think that's his name Idk). And the direction and the pace kinda reminded me of a Wes Anderson film, and Idk if that's a problem or not, but I like it.
While Jojo Rabbit didn't manage to be the best film of 2019 as I thought it would be, it certainly didn't disappoint me, and I can already see myself revisiting it in a near future. Also, if you're anything like me, you will have a lot of problems without saying any reference from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
