Achieving greatness with so little! The blueprint for the indie filmmakers out there ready to shine on minimalist budgets. What a well crafted little narrative to showcase the talent of one of the most important filmmakers in the last couple decades. Loved it
Before Midnight 2013
- the second one made me sad in a way that I can enjoy, this one made me sad in a way that I cannot
- Ethan Hawke’s haircuts did a Pokémon-style, three-stage evolution in reverse
- Celine got a lot less likable for me throughout this one
- decent end to the trilogy, but not on the level of the first two I don’t think
Written and co-directed by a Denison Beta alum who graduated a year before I got there. Met him once or twice at alum weekends, kinda cool to say now.
Decent movie! Pretty standard story arc but set in a world most people probably know nothing about which was cool. The movie definitely has intriguing style and was what drove the movie for me. I’m impressed!

-willfully ignorant + fundamental misunderstanding of revolution/ANTIFA (how are you gonna say your film “isn’t political” when characters are carrying signs…
