i’m sitting here right now after watching this movie for the second time within a week trying to string together some thoughts i have. this movie is actually a work of art. this is a movie that deserves to be watched with absolutely zero distractions. every detail, every look and every word spoken needs to be paid attention to. even the details in the background are worth looking out for.
david fincher is such a professional. from se7en to fight club to zodiac to the social network and then gone girl, he continues to blow my mind. his mind works in such wonderful ways and he conveys that so well on screen. i can't wait to see what he does next.
rosamund pike absolutely deserved her academy award for best actress from this role. the scene where she’s explaining her plan to frame nick is hands down one of the best scenes i’ve ever seen in film. she is captivating and so fierce and so incredible to watch. this is one of my favourites for sure
also i fucking love that reese witherspon produced this
