Every couple of years there’s a black history movie that comes along, at the moment we have this and it treads the same kind of ground that a lot of the others do, the story here is actually very similar to BlackKKlansman, but that doesn’t mean it ain’t fresh and interesting. This flick is a real acting vehicle for the 2 leading men, Daniel Kaluuya is electric, such a strong and commanding performance, which is accompanied by LaKeith Stanfield’s more demure work, they both compliment each other very nicely. The movie is a bit longer than necessary and does drag at times but overall it’s a good film that tells a very interesting story. I enjoyed it, I wouldn’t be hurrying to watch it again but watching it this time round was good.
