    The anti-John Wick. 

    One of the best family dramas, black comedies, action films, and Christmas movies I have ever seen. A rejection of absolute determinism, be it divine or materialistic, though not absolutely rejecting the value of the divine or the material either.     So damn good. The fact that this was made for 30mil is insane and really inspiring now that VFX technology has become even more accessible. I wonder what the budget would have been without all the big names? 

    I really love the dynamic of having the same protagonist from two different times in their life interacting at the same moment, it is something I cannot really think of many other films doing.
